Scope

Single-Site License is appropriate for:

  • Small business websites
  • Personal blogs
  • Single project sites
  • Portfolio or business card sites

3.2 Multi-Site License

Description

A Multi-Site License permits use of the product on multiple domains/websites. The number of sites permitted is specified in the product listing (e.g., "Up to 5 sites," "Up to 25 sites," or "Unlimited sites").

Permitted Uses

  • Install on the specified number of domains/websites
  • Manage multiple sites with same product installation
  • Share product updates across all licensed sites
  • Modify appearance and settings on each site independently
  • Use for client projects (within site count limit)
  • Receive updates and security patches for all installations

NOT Permitted

  • Exceed the specified number of installations
  • Transfer license to another person without permission
  • Modify source code and redistribute
  • Use on unlimited sites unless specifically unlimited license
  • Resell the product itself

Scope

Multi-Site License is appropriate for:

  • Web design/development agencies
  • Freelancers managing multiple client sites
  • Content networks or blog networks
  • Businesses with multiple brand websites

3.3 Developer/Staging License

Description

Some products offer Developer or Staging Licenses specifically for non-production use on development, staging, and testing environments.

Permitted Uses

  • Install on localhost or local development machines
  • Install on staging domains for testing
  • Install on internal development servers
  • Test new versions before production deployment
  • Use for team training and development

NOT Permitted

  • Use on public/production domains
  • Public access to staging sites (if license restricts)
  • Use for client projects or deliverables
  • Modification and redistribution

3.4 Reseller/Agency License

Description

Reseller or Agency Licenses permit resale or redistribution of the product to clients, subject to specific terms.

Permitted Uses

  • Distribute to clients as part of services
  • Install on client sites under agency management
  • Charge clients for use (with product creator benefit-sharing)
  • Provide updates and support to clients
  • Modify for client customization (if permitted)

NOT Permitted

  • Resell directly to end-users as standalone product
  • Claim product ownership
  • Modify source code substantially and rebrand
  • Violate product creator's attribution or revenue sharing terms

Revenue Sharing

Reseller licenses typically include revenue sharing arrangement (check product listing). You agree to remit specified percentage/amount to product creator.

3.5 Personal/Non-Commercial License

Description

Some products are licensed for personal or non-commercial use only.

Permitted Uses

  • Use on personal websites or blogs
  • Use for non-profit organizations
  • Educational use
  • Personal portfolio or resume sites
  • Hobby or non-revenue projects

NOT Permitted

  • Use for business, company, or commercial websites
  • Use on websites with advertising or monetization
  • Use in services you provide for compensation
  • Use for e-commerce or sales

4. Installation, Activation, and Updates

4.1 License Key and Activation

  • License keys are provided upon purchase and emailed to your account
  • Some products require license key activation during installation
  • License keys are unique to your purchase and account
  • Sharing or selling license keys is prohibited and will result in license termination
  • You may need to reactivate if server changes significantly

4.2 Installation Limits

Some license keys have technical limits on simultaneous activations:

  • Developer: Unlimited on non-production domains

If you exceed limits, you may be asked to purchase additional licenses or upgrade to a higher-tier license.

  • You are responsible for backing up before updates

4.4 Update Availability

  • Continued development or support
  • Backward compatibility

5. Product Modifications and Customization

6.3 Transfer of License

7. Support and Maintenance

7.1 Support Responsibility

Product creator is responsible for support, not WP Bros. Your license includes:

  • Support from creator (level varies by product)
  • Updates and security patches
  • Bug fixes (if creator provides support)

7.2 Support Scope Limitations

Creator support typically does NOT include:

  • Custom development or coding
  • Theme customization beyond configuration
  • Plugin integration with incompatible third-party products
  • Performance optimization
  • Third-party product troubleshooting

7.3 Support Duration

Check the product listing for support duration:

  • Some products include lifetime support
  • Some products include 1 year of support
  • Some products have limited or no support
  • Premium support may be available for additional fees

8. License Termination and Violation

8.1 When License Terminates

Your license automatically terminates when:

  • Product creator discontinues the product
  • You violate terms of this license policy
  • You stop paying for the license (if subscription)
  • You breach the product creator's terms
  • License expires (if time-limited)

8.2 License Violation

Violations include:

  • Using product beyond scope of your license type
  • Using product for prohibited purposes

8.3 Consequences of Violation
